Sunrise Avenue is a Finnish poprock band. In addition to being popular in Finland, Sunrise Avenue has gained recognition in Germany. The song Fairytale Gone Bad was the theme song for Tour de France for German broadcaster ZDF. In 2007 Sunrise Avenue's song Choose To Be Me was the theme song for German Big Brother.

Sunrise Avenue performed before Bon Jovi in 2008 in Austria. Their new album Out of Style was released yesterday (23.3.2011).

While not exactly a band, Darude is certainly worth mentioning. Darude was an amateur musician while studying, he occasionally sent his demos to radio stations in Finland. Then suddenly in 1999 his single Sandstorm became a fenomenal success, becoming the most selling 12-inch single in 2000.

His first album Before the Storm sold 800 000 copies worldwide. His second single Feel The Beat was also a success.
